espresso is a funny thing and I can't find the real truth to it's caffeine content. I don't know.
some places say one ristretto shot (1oz) is roughly 100mg of caffeine, whereas other places say a doubleshot is 100mg.
all i know is the LD50 is roughly 10grams.
the only people the LD50 concerns are coke-heads who snort lines of caffeine, or those who take caffeine pills in insane quantities.
typically your body digests caffeine in a decent speed (6hour half-life), so the time it took to finish the number of drinks required to kill oneself is more than the half-life (at least, to properly consume and digest said drinks, your stomach just can't process that much coffee lol).... but as far as pills go, it wouldn't TOO hard, not much harder than any other drug. most i've had is what I imagine to be roughly 1.1g of caffeine (if a doubleshot of espresso is close to 200mg), through espresso's and caffeine mints.
hell i got to a point where i was interested in purchasing pure caffeine powder through ebay and adding it to any beverage. lol i was into a true caffeine binge period for a little while. espresso was my friend
