Dear Wireless Providers

Hi,

I am in the market for a new phone and plan. However, I also am interested in the LTE (4G) for my internet. I was wondering why you guys do not offer phone plans with LTE as well as being able to use a modem with that plan for home access... say like $120 a month, unlimited everything, max 20gb a month.

or do you?

Thanks
Me.

What do you mean by use a modem? Tethering?

VZW has 4G(LTE) which I believe costs around $40/month for 5GB, then $10 per GB after that. Not as cheap as you'd like, but it's better than we've had in the past where they charge per KB in overage. I've gotten roaming fees close to $1,000 for a couple of GB overage for staff who were traveling and didn't have unlimited international data activated.

If you're talking about bundling wireless service and home DSL/Cable, I don't think I've seen that from Verizon. Time Warner advertises 4G(LTE) usb modems here in NYC, but I have no idea if they have a bundle with your home cable & internet plan.

Sprint has unlimited-use 4G plans. $45/mo for a desktop modem, $50/mo for a mobile 4G-only device, and $60/mo for a mobile 3G/4G device (limit is 5 GB on 3G, still unlimited for 4G).

You could also get an Evo or Epic and tether.
