Dear TF2,

Homerboy

Lifer
After all these hours of playing time, you never cease to entertain me. I still love you.

TFC was better

/runs

Quite honestly, I loved them both. TFC probably wasted more of my hours (though I had more to waste back then too).

There are things about TFC I miss quite a bit. But the atmosphere and style of TF2 I simply love. The humor just never gets old on me, and the action is always a blast.

For some reason, I still can't get into this game. I've played it for several hours off and on, but just don't enjoy it.

The one thing I will say is that the constant comic relief definitely helps to take away from the serious attitude of some idiots. Nothing irks me more than to be playing a GAME and have some asshole think they're justified to start screaming at the team into the mic because we lost a flag, or something. It still happens in TF2, but not as much as in CS: S, MW2, COD4, etc. in my experiences.

I've found a handful of servers that seem to consistantly have not only good players, but people that are not idiots with their mics (I personally dont use a mic). This is key to enjoyment for sure.

I'm nearing 1000 hours played on TF2. Sometimes I wonder how much further along in my education/career/etc I'd be if I spent that time doing something useful. Then I remember how much fun TF2 is, and I don't care 🙂

I've found a few good servers and I almost never venture out into the wild, too many annoying micspamming people out there.

Excellent game for unwinding and having fun, which, in my mind, is what games should be for.

Been playing since the day it came out in beta. Still rocking!

I'm going to start in some competitive highlander games soon.

Hehe Blinblue. I have about 1k hrs just on spy alone .

Ha, same here! Too bad I don't have as much time as I used to have...

It definitely helps that Valve has done an exceptional job of supporting the game and continuing to develop new maps, game modes, etc (nevermind that some of the weapons/changes are a bit too wacky or out of place). It's a shame really, this is the level of support they promised for L4D1... I'm just glad the two development teams aren't run by the same person.

They already have the shield on the sentries which helps out a lot. My sentry almost never gets blown up by an uber Demo now cus of it.

I actually want the demo to be able to take out Sentries. It's the mindless spam being so bloody effective at killing players that gets me.
