Dear Santa...

Maybe Santa will bring them someone that knows how to code HTML. I only found 3 buttons on the site that even worked.

Now THAT'S a cluster!!! Somebody recruit them!!!!!!!!

compute nodes
528 units, each equipped with
Intel PentiumIII, 800 MHz
ASUS-Mainboard CUBX
512 MB SDRAM PC100
harddisk Seagate Barracuda II 20,4 GB
floppy
gfxcard ATI 3D Carger 4MB
2 x network adapter Level One FNC 0108TX

I feel the eurge to E-mail them NOT asking them to join our team but to inform them of distributed computing as a whole, and see if they are interested in it and if I may guide them.

Im sure with all that power, they are bound to have some Idle cycles lyin around, and BAM! thats where we come in , the Idle CPU cycle rescuers!

Zip Zam Zowie Zoom!

Has anyone seen a case like those with a reset button on the back? Or did they drill and mount each one? And, couldn't they find a smaller case? It's not like they need to room for enhancements.

just sour grapes, though. If I built one, I'd make it more like the one in Kentucky. KLAT2

KLAT2 - 46.2 GHZ of Athlon power. Considering how well the Athlon does with RC5 or OGR this lil baby gets my vote 🙂

I wanna set somthing like that up, to bad I am limited on cash, hince why I have been asking for spare computer parts 🙂.
