I have read her column for years, more to evesdrop on lives/problems of other people than for her advice. I usually agree with her because her advice is common sense and common courtesy.

this ^^. I've followed that column for years, although it's no longer written by Margo Howard, but Emily Yoffe.

I thought this was about my favourite Beatles song. :colbert:

LOVE that song. I have such amazing memories surrounding the White Album.

Freshman year in college. My roommate had the first audiophile system I'd been around. They weren't that common back then.

The album came out just before Christmas, but was only available in NYC. You had to physically go up the Big Apple to get it, there was no other way. The guy who lived under me did so.

Then everyone went home for Christmas break, including the guy with the album and my roommate. I stayed in the dorms and my gf did, too.

We had the room all to ourselves, the sound system all to ourselves, this brand new album just to ourselves, and ourselves just to ourselves.

Janet Lane. Natural blonde, killer body, tons of fun. Her nickname was "Honey West."

That, my friends, was heaven! :awe:

Almost forget about this Dear Prudence. Her advice is so-so. The column is interesting enough.

Much more interesting is Cary Tennis over at Salon.

His advice is deeper and fuller and far more thoughtful, though he may seem too wordy and idiosyncratic to many of you, and he can be sometimes annoying.

The bonus is that because he's deeper and far more thoughtful and idiosyncratic, he tends to attract far more offbeat and idiosyncratic advice seekers.

Your opinion may differ. <shrug>
