Dear IT:

If you did your job right, sh!t wouldn't break. I'm out my way out of the office to get some poon. Have fun stroking it to DNS tables.

Nothing broke. It was actually a typo in one of my VBscripts that caused it to log an error about a failed zone transfer whether or not the transfer actually failed (actually, whether or not it had even ATTEMPTED a zone transfer - it just logged an error every half second or so, promptly filling my inbox and the log server)

The typo had been inserted by way of an erroneous dropped pen when I answered the phone while making the changes to the script to run it on this server (basically change "\\SERVER" to "\\BASIC2")

You tell me like I care about your error. I bet that programmer could have written a better script with no errors while getting some action.

Tell me - do you KNOW any programmers?

Yes

Next time the programmer is away from his desk, switch his M and N keys on the keyboard.

Yeah, because the syntax error in the script was his fault.

You don't because they're all out getting pussy while you mess around with network services.

I don't need to be out getting it, because when I go home at night, I have one waiting for me

I just set myself up for a nasty burn, someone had better take it.

Good news everyone! As long as you are not a programmer, it's ok to sneak up on admins and announce your sexual conquests. Seriously. If it weren't ok for everyone else, he wouldn't have addressed it to just programmers. Therefore be sure to PM him every time you get some action if you aren't a programmer, and maybe even if you are considering a career change.
