I understand the desire to bridge the gap between phone, tablet, and full-blown computer, but MS went too far for the desktop/laptop market. But I use each item for different tasks, because each is suited for different tasks. I don't need or want a touch-style-inspired interface on my desktop or laptop.

That would definitely be annoying. What program is doing that? I can't say I've ever had that happen but I can easily picture MS doing that trying to be useful but just being annoying instead.
