I didn't think the democrats would be able to derail Kavanaugh's nomination. But is sure looks like they're going to be able to pull it off. On top of that, Ford walks away with a cool half million bucks from gofundme. That's a double win.
This was an impressive bit of theater, far more nuanced than the republicans brute force method used against Garland, though far more brutal on a personal bases, in that it pretty much destroyed Kavanaugh.
I assume the idea is to keep the seat open until 2020 on the assumption that Trump will be voted out? They should have the votes to do that after November.

You're not loving all this Winning? Your orange God said you would have so much, you'd be sick of it... are you sick yet?

It is almost as if they pulled a page from the Republican playbook. Seems they learned something from the Republican attacks on evil Hillary. Rather than worrying about getting to irrefutable truth, the realize how much influence they can exert with repetition. It's like the Republicans convincing their dumb-ass base and stupid independents that Hillary was unfit because of uranium. And Benghazi. And her questionable health. And pizza parlors with basements.

Glad to see the gloves coming off a bit. Of course their supporters will decry the tactics because they are hypocrites and/or blind. Or stupid.

This stuff always makes me laugh when I remember you’re over 50 and you still talk like this.

If some old guy said that to me in real life it would be really hard not to laugh in their face.

I wouldn't bother trying not to. I'd laugh uproariously.

I think you missed just about every mark. That's ok as street politics are all about anger, vengeance, and spin. The actual reasons don't really matter.
It will be very interesting to see how this plays out in the elections. I think the dems are going to do well. They might be able to hold the SC seat open until 2020.

What’s up with all the weird homophobic insults? Who cares if people who dislike Trump are gay? You’re acting like a twelve year old in 1995.

He feels guilty for thoroughly enjoying the at-all-not-necessary monthly prostate exam. Somehow that guilt gets taken out on you. It is not fair. It is what it is.

Missed every mark? No, I absofuckinglutely nailed it! This really is a both sides situation. Democrats are using literally the same tactics.

I am ot sure how you think I missed the mark. I would like to think you could at least acknowledge that the Ds are doing the same crap to a Republican nominee that the Republicans have been doing for years.

I don't necessarily support the tactic, but I am all for a level playing field. If you are disgusted that some Ds are not taking the high road, I can't have any sympathy for you

Time to suck it up. This could be politics getting even uglier. 2020 and beyond could see no one going high when shitheads go low.
