The 2006 Kodiak prepared by Monroe Truck Equipment has a host of luxury appointments. An MTX sound system featuring a touch-pannel DVD based navigation system, upgraded speakers, and a stealth enclosed subwoofer and amp in the center console provide a great listening experience for passengers. The Duramax diesel engine and Allison automatic transmission provide plenty of low end grunt for all your towing and hauling needs. All this and more can be yours for a mere $70,000.

Wow, thanks for the good laugh. I cracked up when I saw the picture.

I hope I NEVER see one of those on the street...

It's not that it's ugly, or that it's expensive, but it's both, and the dash looks like an 80's budget hatchback

Looks like they are going after the same market that International Trucks is going after when then introduced this.

It looks better in person. I drove past one on the highway. The rear doesn't seem too out of the ordinary, then you get to the front and it's like HUH?

Yep, and Mack had one last year or the year before that was $100k+ and was basically a semi cab disquised as a pickup

You're not going to see many of these on the road. They're intended mostly as 5th-wheel haulers for the RV market.

Intended, right.

But then people buy them to take to work and impress their buddies. Like they do with the "hummers".

Should they pass a law to protect your delicate sensibilities on this issue?
