FYI - I read in the news article about this outage that chase will work with online bill pay for anybody that was trying to pay bills. You can also use their automated phone service or customer service.

You know that awesome invention? It's called a telephone.

Thanks, just reminded me to pay my bills. It was slow, but it is working.
A lot of people seem to complain about Chase, but I have yet to have any problems.

LOL... not human interaction!!!??
I wonder if Chase will agree to pay my late fees to the bills I'm trying to pay?!?! :)

Edit: “We will work with customers on any issues that occurred, including late fees,” Tom Kelly, a spokesman for the New York- based bank, said in an e-mail.

Edit2: I read another article saying the phone line banking is sometime overwhelmed too. Not to mention the "real lines" where you talk to people. Brilliant. Heads will roll on this one I'm sure. (nothing higher than a Supervisor though of course).
LOl how hard do you think that refund will be to get?

Jeez this is a long downtime period. Unacceptable for a bank, IMO. What is their IT staff doing over there??

I hope this doesn't apply to the JP Morgan retirement site, too. Really not too happy about my company's upcoming switch to them.

...stop advertising your ID Protection services in the same frame as my accounts.
At least put your crap banners on the edges of the screen.

I see we have more happy Chase customers. I stopped doing business with them 5 years ago and haven't regretted it yet. :D

Was on this morning and a couple of times since then. Didn't have any problems - go figure.

Anyone else having problems w/ the Chase iphone app on their 2G phone? Mine wouldn't recognize the amount on the check when I try to take a picture to deposit a check.

Write a check, put it in envelope with invoice, put stamp on it, put in mailbox.

For those of us that don't get paper statements, if you can't log in to check your statement balance then it's hard to write a check for the correct amount.

That's why you need to have your statements mailed to you. It also allows you to file them and save them in case of a dispute. Websites go down, computers have problems, etc.

Why would I save and file them?
The card holder has the EXACT pdf that the paper statement is available on their website.

Yeah, down yesterday too. Early this morning it was all login issues and SSL errors with any pages outside of the account summaries. By the time I got settled in at work (~9:30) it seemed to be working again, and I could access and schedule my billpay.

Is it broken again? Does being broken affect already scheduled billpays, or just that you can't schedule any new ones?
