Does that ever actually work? It sure doesn't in Toronto. Just convinces the slow asshole to start tapping their brakes. It's why accidents always seem to be in the left lane.

Tailgating is a dick move, and if the guy in front starts brake-checking and you hit him, it's your fault and your responsibility.

Not always. If you're really brake checking people its illegal and it would be a shared fault accident. The tough part is proving it.

You're not wrong; the tailgater isn't breaking any law. But it's a stupid, dangerous thing to do and I'm a strong advocate for stupidity being punishable by law.

In California, unfortunately tailgating is the only effective way to convince the asshole in front of you going 60mph in the left lane to pull to the right.

Worked for me in California as a tailgate victim quite often, if i go 85 in a 75 zone and someone wants to tailgate me i move over and if there's some cop nearby let the tailgater get the ticket lol and i have seen it happen.

Out here in Arkansas the biggest issue is slow ass motherfuckers, some going 10 miles under the speed limit and there's the fucks who make a turn that takes a decade to do without a directional light lol.

It's stupid and dangerous to drive passive-aggressively while not adhering to the host country and state's traffic law and common courtesy, but that didn't seem to stop you.
