I've seen the fight twice. Imo, Mayweather pulled Ortiz's head down about 50 times and hit him....Thats horseshit.

I saw 2 headbutts by Ortiz, 1 intentional and he lost a point for it. Then he got knocked out while apologizing, major bullshit.

Dear boxing,
You haven't been interesting in 20 years. Your basic fight structure in untenable, with a weight class for every 4 ounces, 375 different belts and titles, requiring prospective contenders to pad their stats with 45-50 meaningless fights against worthless competition just so they can post a 50-0 record, charging too much for pay-per-view events, not putting out the only two fights that anyone wants to see (Mayweather-Pacquiao and the Klitschko brothers) and being basically unwatchable dreck when compared to the actually entertaining MMA fighting offered by organizations such as UFC, Pride and Strikeforce. I understand you used to be the king of the hill. Good for you. So did horseracing and baseball. People today have more options for sporting entertainment than ever before, and you've failed to evolve. Have fun continuing to give Mayweather hundreds of millions of dollars. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

this

is anything more boring than a mayweather fight?

jab jab dodge. jab jab dodge. jab jab dodge. bell rings, round over

repeat 11x

//edit

wait, i might have gotten that wrong

dodge dodge jab. dodge dodge jab. dodge dodge jab.
You forgot the part where after round 3 there are a bunch of clinches that the ref has to keep breaking up.

The Lameweather fight was $69.99 in HD, that's absurd. Plenty of people dumb enough to pay that also. There was a freebie on HBO the week before or maybe 2 weeks, the Hopkins fight. I watched most of that, SO boring and not even close, yet one judge had the fight a draw.

If you are paying for HBO your service provider likely has HBO GO, which is free and basically is ON DEMAND hbo with EXTRA stuff, including Mayweather vs Ortiz (and about 20 more good bouts), movies, sports, series, and other stuff.

I've watched a lot of bouts on my pc or mobile devices. Not paying PPV ever.

(Money) Mayweather's team pays off the refs in all his bouts...He has NO power at all but hes the quickest boxer in his weight class (without question).

I really enjoy Boxing -

Went to Reno for the weekend to watch the fights at the Atlantis. So much more fun with other people who care about the sport.

Harold Lederman is the man - love his point & fight analysis - its the best in the Business. The quality of the PPV was great. Great production, great replays, GREAT CAMERA WORK - Those corner shots between Cotto Mayweather were on point.

I would have liked to have Max Kellerman on the mic.

Canelo - Sugar Shane was a great fight as well - a top quality undercard match for the big PPV.

UFC is turning into Grecco Roman Wrestling and point fighters - was much better earlier.

Fox's UFC card was pretty good, sick submit by Nick Diaz.

I wouldn't mind more wrestling if UFC would allow knees to the head, but oh well.

Boxing isn't even worth my time to go use HBO Go. I went to the same place I go watch the UFC. I didn't have to pay at all, but I only went cause my friend sent me a text asking me to come hang out. I didn't give a shit about the fight being on.

Rugby football players can bitch slap the crap out of any American football players. even with their helmet and padding.

I think it's funny that people all over the internet think this. Watch "Strong: the movie" Joe DeFranco has 2 big name rugby guys come to his gym which trains a lot American football players for the combine/NFL draft and they did awful in comparison. Not that rugby players aren't tough but idiots on the internet don't quite understand what they're talking about...
