I know that - but that isn't the point of this thread. This thread is about the Leftys who are going after the leading far lefty. Seems to me that there are more than just "rightwingers" going after Dean - which is what is happening.

You know what? I hope Dean gets the nod. I truly do - Bush'll beat him alot easier than he would a Kerry, Graham, or Gephardt.:) Keep it up Dean nuts - keep it up:)

CkG
Wishful thinking.
Exactly. They try to discredit Dean because they fear him most. Dean is least tainted by association with Bush and his assorted failures.

Like I said - "bring em on". I'd love to see the landslide that'll happen if someone as far left as Dean got the nod. It'd be a Mondull style defeat for on Mr.Dean. :)

Oh, and incase you people keep forgetting - the thread was about DEMOCRATS who were bashing Dean - not Republicans.;)

I'm not - I just thought people might like to know and discuss the pending implosion of the Democratic party. The fireworks "officially" start tomorrow night but a few toyed with some sparklers over the weekend. :p

Did you miss the part where I want Dean to win the nomination? Why would I bash him now? I want him to win so Bush can thrash him;)

Not worried about the Democrats. The republican policies are unsustainable, so they will be thrown out eventually.
As far as Dean, I am glad you want him to win. Go donate some money. Maybe you right, and Bush will thrash him, just like he thrashed this country's fiscal health, our international relations, economy, environment, etc.

BOBDN - is that you? :p

I'd be worried ....IF I was a Democrat. Didn't some poll this last weekend show that like 2/3 of those polled couldn't name a Democratic candidate or something like that? Lieberman led in name recognition at like 14%. But oh well - we'll soon see the fur fly.

And if you think I'd send a dime to Dean, you are sadly mistaken.

Dean's not all bad - he does have an 'A' rating from the NRA, but he might flip-flop on that as well.

At least Dean's "adjustments" didn't get hundreds of our troops killed nor thousands of other foreign civilians. Nor does it drive a big red hole of ink into our economy.

I am not worried long term. This election or next, eventually the American people will throw GOP out of office, because GOP just plain and simple doesn't have any sustainable ideas for the economy that have worked or ever will. Bush is on TV now admitting his march to war has hurt the economy by creating uncertainty.

You may be right that the Republican will be replaced - but only if they become Idealess like the other side has become. Ideas aren't "I'm going to undo what he did" - they are new - fresh - logical ideas that can LEAD us forward - not make us dependant.

You mean those ideas the Dem candidates don't have like providing health coverage for all Americans by reforming the system and not spending much more annually that present spending, maintaining fiscal responsibility so that we don't shift the debt burden to the next generations to pay off, actively taking steps to protect our environment and natural resources for future generations, giving gay couples their civil right to join in a legally recognized union, increasing American prestige and respect around the globe so that we are once again looked up to rather than looked down on, and reinvesting in public education and particularly special education (which has been deemed to be the responsibility of the federal government for decades now) so that the local municipalities can focus on getting their best and brightest children the quality education they deserve?

No, those Dems don't have any forward looking ideas.

You're right. Damn those endangered species for not accepting personal responsibility for their inability to survive the destruction of their environment and those seven year old kids for not accepting the personal responsibility of being the kids of poor parents. Social darwinism will save us all.

who's talking about 7 year old kids? They don't have a say in gov't and they could and should care less at that age - kids should be kids. There is a time and place for gov't support(welfare) but not for everyday living and should only be for those that truly can't help themselves. Democrats by putting more entitlements(and yes I don't like Bush's stance on prescription drugs;)) into place breeds dependance. It is truly the Liberal thinking that is holding people back by telling them that they are nothing and can't survive unless the gov't gives them everything. They think we're too dumb to do things on our own and do nothing to promote personal responsibilty for our life choices.
