He bashed the war and pumped up his plans for universal heath care, renewable energy and investments in schools, highways and broadband Internet for everyone.

When the heck did broadband internet become a campaign goal?????

all it takes is a major flubb up and he's toast.
You sure? Most politicians seem to be immune to that rule. They flub. They get caught. They cry. They beg forgiveness. Then someone else flubs and the public promptly forgets about the previous flubber and all is back to normal. :p

Dean has been watching too much South Park, I see... Although, I'm sure it was meant as some kind of joke, his creepy smile probably made everyone think twice. ;)

Here is the quote from Dean:
"I like (rapper) Wyclef Jean and everybody thinks I'm very hip, but I am really a square, as my kids will tell you. I don't even get to watch television. I've heard the term (metrosexual), but I don't know what it means."
How is he declaring himself a "Metrosexual" if he doesn't know what it means? Of course the rightwingers will try to blow it out of proportion, like they did with Gore Internet comments, which just shows their desperation to keep power.

He said that after he declared himself a metrosexual, according to the article. But anyway, who cares? He's having fun and joking with people, is that so wrong?

Wow Cad, is it Grind on Dean Day? Al Sharpton and this. Assuming that the previous quote from Dean is correct, don't you feel some obligation to the facts?

I've seen people use the term and I haven't a clue what it means. Anyone have a definition?

From the article - "Dean declared himself a "metrosexual," the buzz phrase for straight men in touch with their feminine sides"

Yet there is no exact quote of him saying that, which means it could have been taken out of context.

Does anyone besides me remember when CAD chastised Insane3d for posting 2 or 3 'Clark' threads?

And I was jumped about it;)

You want another thread? I got more Dean stuff :D

And actually there was 1 Dean story - and 1 about Sharpton - and one about Gephardts staffers. Sure they all have Dean in them. Why are people so sensitive about Dean lately?

I got some Clark stuff, some Lieberman stuff, some Kerry stuff....If you want me to switch from your precious Dean - I will....for now;)

CkG

Edit- Dasm I still have a good Dean article to share....guess it'll have to wait until later.

Well, it isn't going to be a long one for a couple candidates - I expect you'll be seeing alot of trash-talking in the next 2-3 months. I'll report it if it is reported :D So far it's just been trash talk about Bush...but not all of them are getting enough play out of just that sort of tactic - look for them to try to stand out.;)
