Nice price, but if it's almost too good to be true...Anyone own this stuff? Is this better than the TwinMos modules?

I've got my finger on the trigger...I've been wanting to get a Shuttle SB51G and throw some Corsair PC3200 in it but I don't want to spend upwards of $400 just for the RAM. For $164 (2x512) can I go wrong?

Heh fine by me :) If folks are willing to try out the ole "heat spreader shuffle" :) Personally, I think buying RAM and not knowing anything about it is like buying a new engine for your car and saying "OH, its a V-8? I'll take it!" without knowing anything else...Course a bit cheaper :)

Also, I think I saw the Googlegear Kingston stuff is going for about this price...

What more is there to know about an engine other than it's V8 or fits in my car?
;)

Engine has moving parts - DDR memory doesnt, checking the memory info is possible without access to the chips. I use crucial and if this one is flawed it will go right back and the charge will be taken care of by my credit card.

Well OK it wasn't the best example :) My point was, there are so many useless resellers that give you next to no information on the RAM. Correct me if I'm wrong, but very few resellers pay for your return shipment either...

I was seriously thinking about getting this stuff, but I decided I've had it with generic crap, so i opted for two sticks of 256mb pc3200 twinmos for around $130 instead

I'd just like to know what brand it is, and if it's going to work well in my new system.
