If you can stop by a CostCo I found that they have pretty good deals on theirs. I found a 2 pack of 13/60 watts from Feit electric company (anyone heard of them?) for $13.99 and a set of 3 100 watt (28?) for $15+, I forgot to check what brand. This could be a good deal for those who want to save and don't have PG&E.

I find that yes they take a while to get to the right brightness but they work great after a few minutes. In fact they, 13 watts, look brighter than the former 60 after a few moments. I never notice flickering. The best is that they save all that electricity.

I brought a 23 or 25watt one from IKEA, in Emervyville, CA which is across the bay from San Francisco. for $7 each. good deal for me. too bad they are the long ones not the swirl ones. still good deal I think.
