Can anyone suggest some component sales companies that are in or will ship to Canada?
Axiontech.com will ship here but they charge a $35 handling fee plus shipping. Yuck! Plus no credit cards.
Everybody else I've tried has said no shipping to Canada. To me this is crazy. We have the world's highest Internet usage. We're in the Free Trade zone. FedEX and UPS deliver all over. A little policy saying clearing customs is your problem and if it gets returned you have to pay restock, and presto! a new market the size of California opens up to you.
Can you imagine if some company wouldn't ship to California?
Bigfoot Computers (www.bigfootcomputers.com) is pretty good (Duron 700 for $99 CDN or $66 US). They have lots of cooling gear too. But their selection is very limited and some of their prices are pretty high. I want good selection and decent prices on components, durn it. Don't make me buy a dell box!
