Deals for $50 off 400 at DELL

Here's what i did to use the coupon:

Purchased:
Maxtor 120g external harddrive and TDK 24x external cdrw. Used 10% off and $50 off 400. Total came to $372.xx with free overnight shipping (this was an option to choose from!). The cdrw also has a $40 rebate. The maxtor does say backordered but it accepted the order so hoping they will get some in soon. I needed both these units so it was good for me. Perhaps someone else can find a good deal to use the $50 off too.

Right now i'm checking the internet for better prices on both these units to see if i can pm using Amex Blue...while it still lasts! I'm not sure how the 50 off and the 10% off will affect a Blue pm/refund, but it won't hurt to try and see if they will refund something!

It was $100 or so that was deducted using the 50 off 400 and the 10%

The $50 coupon doesn't seem to work here, it says I have to buy a Dimension desktop. how'd you get it to apply?

Canon Powershot s30 $499 - $50 - 10% + free shipping = $399.06

don't forget 3% ebates

I have the coupon code if anyone wants to know

Not sure if this is true, but I just called customer care at dell to check the lead time on the s30. he told me its better to order on the phone and what not, but i asked if i could use the courpons over the phone. he asked which ones, i said the 50 off and the 10% off. he said they are not stackable, and i said well why does the website let me use both and not error in the shopping cart. his response was that these orders are manually entered and reviewed, and that they would correct it.

im not sure if i belive it or not.

also, he claimed that orders 'fall-off' when they have long lead times and are ordered online. not sure if its true or not, anyone have any comments about both things?

Going through Dell's digital camera section is like visiting 800.com couple months ago, lots of things not in-stock.

I was trying to get a Canon G2, $799.99 - 10% - $10 off coupon - $50 off $400 = $659.99 😱
no-stock. Place the order, ETA is delayed 5/28/02 😱 😱 Looks like everyone is grabbing the G2, S200 and the S330.

Just when I thought the economy is slow disgust; anyone want to loan me $$ 🙂

Edited:
bann3d, you may very well ruined everyone's order with stacked coupons.

Allen7,

You were able to use the $10 coupon and $50 off $400? I tried that but it would only let me use one or the other.

B

bboy,

Yeap, but I cancelled my order just now. ETA of delayed 5/28/02 is just unacceptable.

By the time I get that I am out of luck with AX PM and most of vendors will probably selling it at the same price.

Well I ordred a camera off dell. a canon s30.. canceld my s330 order today.. i used the 50 and 10% off, for a total of 399.06. all three shipping options were 0.00 so i choose next day. i wonder if it goes through, hehe 🙂

<< you can use the 10% off coupon with the $50 off $400.....free shipping too >>

The question is.. which ones are free? it gave me all optoins as free, including next day....

bann3d:

If it shows $0.00 then it's free, doesn't matter which one it is. Do you have any trouble reading??

gswpete and bann3d,

Many times Dell's order system makes a glitch about free shipping, I had them ship Nextday Air free when only the ground shipping is free.

So as long as you see $0.00 for Nextday Air, it's free.

LOL

Okay, screw it. I got a ship date of 5/21 on my newest camera, which is not much better than the 5/28 i got for the s330 yesterday. sure the prices are great, but waiting this long is not even close to worth it. i will be canceling this as well. i knew that there would be a leadtime on this order that i just made since it was listed out of stock, but 1 1/2 months is a lot. i will stay with my 2MP a40 i guess, even though that s30 would have been nice, i will just wait until i earn enough money to get it from a place that auctally ships stuff out. it would have been nice though 🙁 399 for great 3MP camera would have been good

I tried to stack a $100 off I found in one of Dell catalogs from work. The 5% off dissapeared and it kept the $100 and the $50 off, with free shipping. The DimensionTM 4400 came out to $449 plus about $35 in tax(no monitor). Not the greatest deal, but I havent had the time to build a computer for my dad that was supposed to be ready 2 weeks ago. I think he will be happy with this one.
I also scored the free Palm m105.
