Guys some of us have huge probs spending money just because we try to save it. ME I dont have a problem heres my purchases for the month.
3 duck pillows = 2.55 saved 30.00
one Antec SX1030B Computer Case = 91.00 saved 30.00
1 AMD K6-3+ 450 CPU 53.00
1 IOMEGA 8x4x32 CDR internal 93.95 saved 60.00

Spent 240.50
saved 173.00

just go for the best deals out there, you don't have to jump on every hot prospect

You guys who are addicted to shopping are women. I only buy something if I need it or if I had planned on buying it anyways, not because it was on sale. In fact, I often will wait until I am sure I am getting the best deal possible before I buy something that I want.

Do you "guys" ever think that there are more products for women to buy? Go to any department store. Over half is always gear toward women. Go the Gap or Banana Republic... Women have an entire floor to themselves! Look at the billboards on your public streets. Look at the ads on your television. See how many of them seem targeted toward women...

So its true "men don't spend nearly as much money shopping as women do".

Well, maybe if it is a good deal, we pick it up...I mean, there are always people who need the stuff I buy...I therefor just help them out. So it means a bit of plastic burn from the credit card monster, but hey, "What's the game of life, without playing games?!"

Well Im not TRULY addicted. I needed all of that stuff except maybe the pillows and tehy were .85 each so whats wrong with that. I have lots of control. I wont buy any memory or another CPU until we get SDDRAM MB's and mature CPUS that can utilize them. I have to control myself when I see all the memory on sale, I only have 128 megs. But I have never gotten a CDR and thats a steal at that price so I figure its about time. Ive been using this AMD 350 for 2 years now so I think 50 for 2x the power aint bad. My

I guess that's the chicken and the egg dilemma... did the stores all get together for a conspiracy and said 'ok guys, lets all gear the stuff towards women to make them buy more stuff.' Or, did it evolve naturally in a capitalist society, and people saw that there were greater profits in selling women stuff because women buy more stuff?

But i guess it's all perspective too... don't know, always shopping on the web and coming here for deals, i find most stuff are geared towards the men (this is ONLINE, where the population is greater than women). Maybe there are more women stuff, and i just never noticed because i wasn't interested in women stuff. Or maybe there are more men stuff, and you never noticed because you're not interested in men stuff.
