anyway, it scanned and was white labeled as such, so if it's in stock, anybody who wants one should be able to get it at their local un
stupid question: is it widescreen? i hate pan and scan (frantic from best buy 🙁)
if it isn't, i'm returning it

Tomorrow Never Dies was a single DVD. There is a two-tape "Limited Edition Gift Pack" on VHS that Amazon has listed for $35.99. However, they indicate that it is out of print.

So, I would bet that this is the VHS.

Perhaps Wallyworld is just trying to offload these.
 
DefRef, if you find DVD's at such great prices again, could you please post? I'm always, as I'm sure others here are also, trying to get some good movies on DVD. Thanks.

it's a dvd BOX SET. i haven't opened it, but i held some dvd cases up next to it for comparison--the widest side matches almost exactly... if you wan't--i can take a picture of it and send it to your mails. pm me

That would be awesome if it were the DVD. What threw me off about it was that it was a "box set" for one movie...So here are a couple other things it might be for that price.

caught a ride with a co-worker to check out the one down the street
walked in and they had like ten of them on the shelf... i am thinking like "cool, i can hook some other anandtechers up" but i notice one on the bottom is open. i said i'm sneaking a peek--what's inside? two VHS tapes!!! aaaaaahhh!!! and they are not even widescreen--that "formatted to fit your tv" junk!
the reason it was like a box set is they have this extra cardboard box inside. this is clearly bait-and-switch
i'm going to write my congressman and tell him to pass a bill
so the next time they catch people false-dvding shoot to kill

Just thought you might want to know the Sams Club here in NM had Golden Eye DVD for 10 bucks with both widscreen and Pan-n-Scan. So maybe you have the same deal in your area.
