Sorry if this is a repost, I searched on PNY, DDR, CC, and Circuit City and couldn't find this exact deal... There is the Staples deal... and CC is mentioned in the Staples PNY DDR Thread but this one is cheaper and deserves it's own thread..

Compusa has PNY PC2100 DDR on sale for $39.99 out the door no rebates.Online (as of 12/18 shows Sold Out!) or In store Flyer.

Circuit City has the same RAM for Sale for $99.99 - $30 in MIR's go to

Circuit City and search for D256M6421OPT.

$99.99 CC Price
-$66.00 $110% PM to CompUSA
-$10.00 MIR
-$20.00 MIR
= $3.99

I went with a coworker at lunch to the Tampa CC and I got 1 stick he got two. I went to a different CSR and only got the 100% PM. He got the 110% PM on both his sticks.

We got packages marked with DDR266 but the RAM inside is Spectek -75A. So no DDR333 for me, NP the rig I bought it for doesn't need it... It just needs cheap RAM !!

Whoa!

Sorching hot. Somehow I think they gonna stop PMing once the AT effect goes into full swing.

Be careful with the MIRs. The PNY / CC rebates have been a PITA lately. Nothing a phone call didn't fix, but just a heads up. They will most likely claim that an incorrect UPC was sent to them.

You're lucky they didn't PM it to 69 instead of 99 like Staples does. They deduct their rebate then PM. so you would have got it for 69 minus the 30 rebate...= 39
Same as CompUSA.

Don't be lazy. Like the man said:

Go to Circuit City's Web site and search for D256M6421OPT.

Never tried a PM at CC, but I don't have a Compusa here, so will they still do a PM, or is it for local competitors only? I know this will probably be up to the manager but I thought I would ask.

Looking at their site is appears to be local price match only:disgust: No cheap ddr for me.

Thanks for the post. Just got back form CC with this memory for $32+tax. Only took 15 minutes to buy since they had to call everyone and there mothers to confirm the price, but in the end, it worked.

What sort of strategy do you guys use for PMing at CC? I've never done a PM at CC, so I'm sure how they are setup or how they react, etc. With BB I always go in, buy the item, then leave and dump it in the car, and then go back in to do the PM. Should I approach CC the same way, or how do you guys do them?

blecky, same strategy as BB. I was only able to PM with the rebates factored in so my total was $70 + tax. Will use BVG to get it down to $40.

By the way, my local BB in Oxnard, CA has a bunch of PNY PC2100 RAM and they were all either Samsung TCB0 or Infineon -6 (PC2700 or DDR333). Their price is $100 so you can PM to CompUSA to get it down to $40 or $34 (110% match) before tax.

Alfonsors, if you need memory, this is the only nearby store that has a lot of PC2700 RAM. I cleaned out the CC and Staples stores yesterday.
