Anyone use a widescreen for something other than games or movies?

My primary apps are Photoshop, VS.NET and FLStudio. I rarely play games and never watch movies on the PC.

What do you guys recommend?

Looks like we missed it by 15 minutes if the deal is for sure dead. This sucks.

Never underestimate the power of leaving work 15 minutes earlier. Tomorrow I will leave 30 minutes early so I don't miss any other hot deals.

Haha, you guys should complain at all. People complained when the deal died at $435 a couple weeks ago. Believe me, this deal (or a better one) will be back again. They always do.

to those that actually got the email offer, I suspect that Dell would honor the deal (whatever % off on the items listed) if you call them.

So is signing up for this DPA thing a one time deal? Wouldn't it be better to use it with a laptop since it's a % off?

A DPA? Then you could have used the code for 10% off for DPA customers... it's not for first-time users, but anyone who used their Dell Preferred Account.

Vallybally, they frequently issue coupon codes for DPA users. They're not one-time use codes (I bought two monitors today) nor are they just for first-time users...

I was going to order before I left to work this morning...now it is dead.... :( Can we call up Dell and complain about coupon expiring earlier?

If I'm not mistaken, they frequently have a number of uses limit built into their coupon codes. It may be good until 4/27, but only for 10,000 uses or something, for example.

A 2005 would've gone well with my Viewsonic 171B-2.

Oh well, it'll probably be back in a couple weeks anyways.
