It's that time of the year again. I remember last year I had lots of fun reading the similar thread.
It has been a slow year in turns of getting hot deals in my opinion. Mostly because the slow economy and all the dot com shops going out of business. But hey, we still scored some hot deals thanks to this forum right?
So here's my Deal of the year nomination.
Without a doubt, it is the ADM eXtreme Performance Athlon XP 1800+ chip + MSI K7T266 MB give away. Not only the whole package worth about $400 at that time, but it was so much fun being there before day breaks with about 800 geeks together waiting for the AMD people to start the registration. Also the excitment of anticipating your number to be called. It was the bomb. So, for those of you who scored on the hottest deal of the year, congrats, you deserved it. And for those of you who scored on the deal and tried to eGay it, shame on you.....

The Staples Black Friday Plam Vx deal. Staples lowered the Plam Vx to $200 and package it with $260 worth of accessories including a GPS system. BB also has the same palm vx on sale that day for 150. I was able to PM with that price and applied the $30 off $150 coupon and got the whole package for $120 + $6 of tax. I was the first in line to get the package and 3 more people stood after me waiting to get the same package. I still remember the looks on their faces when they saw the final price I had to pay. wish i had my digicam with me.
