I do not have a printer so I could not print it. I thought the next page was going to give me my order number or they would email it to me. Then I hit Back to get my order number and the page was empty.
 
Just to let everyone know, this deal IS legit. I called Kaypro's 1-888 number and spoke to a salesperson. She said the prices of $279.00 (retail) and $179.00 (OEM) were correct. She also said that the cards are exactly the same, so there's really no benefit to buying the retail package over the cheaper OEM. The retail comes with no games anyway, just drivers.

That is correct. The white box (OEM) version does not have TV-Out. However, as stated on Kaypro's website, the retail package for $279 does not have TV-Out either.

*UPDATE* It looks like Kaypro may soon be pulling the deal from their website. The V5 5500 AGP OEM is no longer on their list of video cards. However, the link mentioned at the start of this thread still works and looks as if you can still add it to your cart and purchase.
 
better get in on this deal quick cuz I checked the main video page and they took it down.. the link straight to the card still works though..
 
Just missed this one 🙁. Hopefully this isnt a one off thing, if anyone sees a similar deal from a on-line seller, please post it.
 
i thoguht none of the voodoo 5500's have tv out. Here is a quote from 3dfx.c_m ". Why did you decide not to have TV-out support in any of the V5 products?

We looked carefully at end-user data, and few end-users want to play PC games on a TV. The higher resolution capability of monitors outweighs the larger TV size for our end users. "

also why in gods name is "3dfx.c_m" replace the _ with an o, banned?
