The page doesn't offer me the same service level I've got with DTV. This sucks.

Actually the link Cyberonic goes to dslreports.com.
I think they resell service from Worldcom (MCI).

The link "Check 768K" checks with MCI so you'll know if you qualify
or not.
Some guy posted another site which can also check for you. I live in Santa Cruz, CA and am qualified :)

Go to the thread for more information.
Currently about 85 people signing up so we're getting close...

Doesnt look like too hot a deal to me.

This sucks! Every time you get something that works well, it gets cancelled.

It says it may be able to service my area? Is there like a qualification check on the site, it looks pretty amatuer.

this is an awesome deal because there is no contract.... If im unable to get on SBC Yahoo $29.95 with contract, I will definitely go with this.

$60/month for 1.5mbit and five (!) IPs is amazing. Cox charges like $15/month for EACH additional IP.

Can anyone jump in on this? looks like I qualify, I already have sbc dsl, but the static ip and 768 upload for the same money im paying now is just too amazing. Im a little leary of the worldcom thing, but ill just go month to month. I wonder how much downtime ill eat if i switch.

Nope, they'll lend us their own modems. Those are able to act as a router and as a bridge (you can ask tech support to change it remotely)

Also, you can choose an 18-month contract for $720 (that's $40/mo) paid upfront. After the contract expires, you automatically move to month-to-month for $40/mo
See website for details.
If you want to, you can credit me for refferal.. lol!

I emailed a staff member of Cyberonic who posted @ DSL Reports. I'm on SBC DSL too, which my dad is going to cancel soon anyways because it's slow.

What its looking like is that you only get the 1.5/768 if your CO can be provisioned with Rhythms equipment. My CO only is Covad, Choice One, & Verizon (as far as I can tell). So no awesome upload and the price is much more. :(

Just wish they would e-mail me back with info and such to make sure if I am right. I would love it if I was wrong and could jump on this.

When you say you got in on this.... did they actually call/email you back or you just emailed your info to the person in that dslreports thread?
