*DEAL DEAD* || Overstock.com - BCB is @ 30% | Get a BP/Beirut table for cheaps?

Well Bing cash back is @ 30% right now for Overstock.

They have this portable ping pong table which is clearly a Beer Pong (BP) table. It's regulation size @ 8'x2'. They have a few more teams available.

$100 + $1 for shipping. After BCB it'll be about $71. Some site is selling a table for $60 but that's before shipping. Shipping to the east coast adds $20 so it ends up being more than the outpost table @ $80.
(Here's the link. I don't know how legit the site is however: http://www.gopong.com/)

Every other site is selling tables for at least $100+

Is the BCB supposed to show up on the checkout page? I see the banner at the top that says 30% off but I'm afraid to check out without it showing up there (like it does at TD).

I don't think so. Most of the BCB sites that I've seen don't have that extra inline info like Tigerdirect does. That might be the only site I've seen it on.

I added some more info into the first post.

Yeah, the only thing is the banner says "discount appears at checkout," but it doesn't, so... I dunno.

Edit: Okay, from the SD thread nothing shows up on the checkout page but people are getting the 30% BCB. Wii for $139.99. 🙂

Confirmed to work @ 30%. The bing CB shows up almost immediately in your bing account at 30%.

While navigating outpost, almost every page has "up to 30%" after following the link. The final order page does NOT show the BCB, but my order was processed at 30% (per Bing account page).

I just tried it, that second page said 15% :-(

I got the banner at overstock that says 30%, purchased an ASUS VH242H monitor (nothing showing at discount) but the email from bing said I only got 15% back. 🙁 Canceled order.

Really sad when they do that. I'd be willing to bet that even giving 30%, their sales volume exceeds the profit margin loss they take.

Guess I'll be going to Big Lots today, to pick up the dining set I looked at, instead of the one I saw at Overstock. Too bad for them, as they're losing out a $500+ sale.

I bought three items from OS.com using this deal. I didn't get in on the 30 percent but I got one item on the 15 percent and 2 items I bought and received a 4 percent. I received all the items and didn't return anything and was credited for the cashback in my PP account. Today I get and email saying that the cashback was taken back from my account. I have no idea why but I won't be doing business with OS.com again because of this. It only amounted to around $60 total cashback, but this was enough to make the difference from buying it a bit cheaper elsewhere. Totally bogus.

I got the same message. I'm going to e-mail bing cashback about this. I haven't returned the products either.

I'm betting Overstock got flooded with orders and didn't want to cover all the discounts, so they told bing these items didn't qualify or were returned, which of course is utter crap. I bought bed sheets, for crying out loud. It's not like I got a screaming deal on an uber-expensive video card.

File a service request with Bing under the "Contact us" link. I've bought a LOT of stuff through BCB and there have been a few issues where the cashback was missing entirely, awarded at the wrong rate, or revoked because I "returned" the item. The bing people have ALWAYS fixed it for me. It generally takes a while, but they have always fixed it eventually.

I suggest you send them a screenshot if you have one of the 30%. Somebody here might be able to send one if you don't have one.

Yep open a support ticket. They'll ask you to send in a screenshot of your order as an image or a pdf file. Make sure to have full headers showing if you use gmail so it shows the time.

No, it is Overstock.com trying to deny the claim. I opened a support ticket and sent copies of my Invoices. They are saying I entered the site from somewhere other than Bing. Actually I went to Bing and searched for Overstock.com and direct links to their website were listed with the discount. I bought 3 light fixtures. The first on was 15 percent Bing and the second two were only 4 percent. All three were denied by OS.com. I used Bing several times over the last year or so and this is the only problem I ever had.

The Bing discount is the only thing that got me to visit their website and they would not have received my business otherwise. I liked the service and their prices were competitive but I refuse to do business again with a dishonest copany. Here is their reason for the denial.

"Thank you for contacting Overstock.com to let us know of the difficulty you experienced with the Bing.com Cash Back Promotion. I apologize for the problem and would be happy to help explain why your cash back rewards were cancelled.
According to our records, you went through the website <enter site> to get to the Bing.com/Overstock.com cash back promotion. Going to Overstock.com through any other website other than coming directly from www.bing.com automatically makes your order ineligible for Bing cash back rewards according to the terms and conditions of the promotion.
