I've never had any problems w/ eCampus. I've order textbooks through them several times.

This just seems too good to be true though.

Sure the ResellerRatings suck, but the ratings at BizRate are mostly favorable link

But I seriously doubt we're gonna get these box sets for $19.99 and would guess most of us will be overjoyed if the orders actually go thru. If it doesn't, I'll just shrug it off and wait for the next Hot Deal to come along.

Heard the same stories from folks at DVDtalk,
Many an order getting cancelled due to luring in buyers.
Perhaps they are collecting emails from those of you just a little tight on giving it away...
you know to sell to mass email marketers.
 
Worth trying. I ordered 2 Band of Brothers (one for me one for my dad) and Ken Burn's Civil War.
 
Deal is dead.. they changed the price back to regular price.

AND they cancelled my order.. godamit I only ordered 3 one six feet one bob and one sopranos

I am new to eCampus. Successfully ordered Bank of Brothers and several others via the link provided here--thanks! However, I cannot seem to pullup Ken Burn's Civil War. Any ideas? Seems to only pullup book version of searches....

You can specify to only look in DVD. It doesn't matter any more though, because they're back to the normal "bargain" prices.

Heh I hope none of us actually expected to get anything from this...
 
Placed 5 sopranos in my cart,started checkout, went to look for a ecampus coupon, found one that says 100 dollar purchase required, went back to place another sopranos in my cart, now The sopranos was 73 dollars and change! went back to checkout and my 5 $19.99 Sopranos were gone, cart was empty, this is after they got my name, number, address, email!!!!!!!!!!! scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I ordered about 1 of everything I was interested in and 2 of BOB, one for my brother, and was excited about the deal. Unfortunately I got the email saying that they had problems with my credit card and the charges not going through correctly. They asked me to come back and try to make the purchase again, low and behold they were back up to normal prices. I would call them up and say I purchased them at this price, put them through on my credit card over the phone. However after reading all the negative feedback on several websites, I don't think its worth the time. Still it was an awesome find thecollectivewi.
 
I'm not sure if this is truly dead yet.

At 4:17PM (after some others have gotten cancellations), I got an authorized CC and processing order email for my second order (I found Civil War after I had ordered the others - ordered 4 of them (1 for me three as gifts for brother, father and F-I-L)

Keeping fingers crossed, but I'm not hopeful.

I ordered Sopranos and Six Feet Under at around 1pm, and got a confirmation email about 1:20.
Still no cancellation, so I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
 
That would really suck if it went through for you guys because I ordered a price mistaked Batman animated dvd for $2 or something a while back and they cancelled that. I wish bad luck on you all!!!! 😀
