Yup, it's pretty heavy for its dimunitive size. It's just like Netgear's old metal routers. It's great, feels solid and durable.

I got one and have been running it for only about 24 hours, but I'm very impressed. Easy to set up, metal case (therefore heavy, won't move all over desk). About heat-mine gets moderately warm, nothing alarming-its certainly no hotter than other switches or routers I've had (limited) experience with. There's no fan inside it (its relatively tiny).

I showed it to two ATT broadband installers, both of which were impressed with it, esp. for that price.

Lauzy: PPPoE Support. The 1.30 firmware and up will fully support PPPoE (taken directly from their website) I updated the firmware on this to the latest as it did not come with latest installed, I already had an SMC 7004ABR, only dislike with the SMC is the location of front ports, I did try some speed tests ect... and came up with this, SMC- 1st server 2001dn./180up. 2nd try 2089/310, 2nd server 1589/302 2nd try 1758/353. Linksys- 1st server 1421/345 2nd try 1430/195, 2nd server 1111/353 2nd try 1077/337, tests were done only moments between, just long enough to switch cables and latch onto IP addy. SMC is faster but I paid considerably more for it than this Linksys, this one is compact and all connections are in the rear, only possible complaint I noticed is it gets kind of hot while on (guess that's why it's in hot deals), Not bad at all for the $. Thanks to Coraanu for posting this.

i just bought one from compusa :) for around 32 bucks. I didn't install yet because i need to pick up a powersupply from my friend so i can set up the other computer. I opened the box, the router looks small, and its pretty tough because of a hard metal casing. thats explains why its heavy. well, after i have it install, i'll update on how good this router is. so wait till i get it up and running tomorow :)

There is an option in the routers setup to clone it, just had problems with this myself.
