Ordered mine yesterday evening. Est. ship date is 3/5.

The difference between the 4400 and 4600 is 25/50 >> My GF3 (I bought the EXACT same way when they first came out..even bought from Gateway!), anywho, my GF3 clocks beyond a stock Ti-500 speed, and thats without any additional cooling.

Either way you go this is an awesome deal!

The difference between the Ti4400 and Ti4600 is that the 4400 is 275/550 and the 4600 is 300/650 for gpu/memory. I was going to order the Ti4600 but looking over the benchmarks, it does not yield a big enough difference to justify the price. If it was the Gainward, that would be another story since it will be running at 330/750. I also have to pay sales tax so it was either pay $371 or $257. Will I notice the difference between 150 fps or a 140 fps in Q3A, I don't think those extra 10 fps are worth $120. But if you do have a Ti4600 or the 4400, you will be good for at least 6 months till the GF5 comes out.

<< glc1 Go back to the very top of the thread... schuang74 spells it out pretty clearly. >>

I'm sorry but I don't know what a Tech Bargain site is.

Can someone give me a link to the code rather than playing games with me? It'd be much appreciated.

No, because that would violate the rules of the forum then this would get locked. Read the rules, then think about it, what did you bold in that post? Try that, and think before you snap at people.

Last May I spent $334 for a Geforce 3, I'll gladly pay $340 for top of the line Geforce 4 now. Especially since I sold my geforce 3 for $225. The only thing I'm concerned with is the clock speed of the Visiontek versus other manufacturers. If the Visiontek Ti4600 is clocked at 300 GPU 650 MEM and the Asus Ti4600 is clocked at 330 GPU 660 MEM then which one is truly the Ti4600 that nvidia had in mind?
I just hope I'm making the right choice. Last year it took the Geforce 3 several months to get to $340 so having paid $334 was a good deal for awhile. I hope with the cards retail price of $399 this deal will also last a fair amount of time. And just in case this board doesn't have ram sinks I've got some sitting around with some Alumina Epoxy just waiting to be used and abused. :D

Anandtechs review states that the clock speed for the 4600 is 300mhz core and 325mhz memory. I am planning on switching my order from the 4600 to the 4400. The 100dollar difference is not reasonable for a mere little mhz.

Doesn't the $50 rebate end on the 28th? So if your orders doesn't ship until march 5th, and gateway doesn't charge you until your item ships, do ya'll think that gateway will honor the coupon?

No. Absolutely wrong. It's an "Instant Rebate"

Sweet deal. I got the 4400, as I don't really need the top-o-the-line 4600 (read: I don't have the extra cash :)), but for $235, I think I'm going to be extremely happy. :)

Gateway has put a hold on my card for the amount, but hasn't actually charged it.

Can anyone tell me if I am only limited to use that rebate once, or could I get 2 cards for $235 apiece?

No, you can't use the same coupon code twice with the same account. I had to open another account with my wife's name to buy some other stuff. :D

Just picked up the 4400. Can't wait till I get it! I got a confirmation that the order was received but since it's Saturday, it won't give me a shipping date till Monday morning. Sweet deal for sure! By the way, how long does that standard UPS shipping take? In retrospect I wish I'd picked overnight but oh well, guess I can wait a week or so.

So if you open up a new account, can you use the same credit card and have it shipped to the same address and get the rebate?

Slacker,
What I am confused about is the fact that if you look at pricewatch you will see that asus shows their cards having a stock core speed of 330. Whats with that?
