Al - "Not now, I want it cold"

i suppose Al vs. Mr. Hearst is going to be the storyline for the rest of the season.

oh, and i'd love to give Joanie Stubbs a reason for living ; )

Just rented the first season of Deadwood. I don't think I've ever watched a series that used the word "c0cksucker" so much .

Swidgen (as Woo would say) has to be one of the best characters in all of television, theater, or cinema.

Agreed. Very well-acted, and extremely well-written. You can pretty much pick any one scene with Al Swearington, and you will have more laugh-out-loud one liners and nail biting drama than all of Hollywood seems able to pack into a 2 hour feature film anymore. Really gunna miss this guy :(

I thought it said everything about the show in episode 1 season 2 when the stage coach was coming into town at the start and it rolled by Jane passed out on her horse waking her up (sort of...)

c*cksucker!

I hate to admit it, but I watched one of the Agent Cody Banks movies (no. 2 I think) the other day (because my son was watching it I swear!) and Ian McShane a.k.a. "Swearengen" was the bad guy.

I didn't figure it out right away, but as soon as I saw him I went WTF is that, he looks very f'in' familiar. He was clean shaven and had some type of flat top. He was also dressed as a metrosexual.

Once I realized who it was I turned the movie of and felt nothing but shame. I told my son that movie was never again to played in our home.

It does have Angie Harmon in it, dressed in really tight clothing, so it has one saving grace!

Yep, this is the last season, but there will be 2 2-hour episodes to wrap it all up.
Apparently David Milch, the creator and executive producer of Deadwood, is tired of the show and wants to make a new show about gay surfers or something along those lines.
Best Emmy-winning show on TV and this guy would rather do a silly surfer show.

HBO's part of the problem too. The show isn't getting great ratings. Unless Milch's new surfer show is somewhat similar to Point Break, I'll probably take a pass ;)

Last night's episode was excellent. The fight between Dan and Hearst's henchman was awesome. This has been a good season thus far.

Yeah that fight was somethin' else. There was a great 'Hostel' moment there. Best so far this season.

I wonder if they'll bring back Rome next season.

Yeah it's coming back

Thats what David milch originally pitched this show as (a Rome version) then he settled on a Western themed show with the execs.

So... does Mrs. Garret-Ellsworth make it out alive at the end of this season/show?

Mr. Ellsworth gives her the shine after getting a contact buzz off her laudnum laced kiss!

Leon could turn out to be the luckiest guy in Deadwood... if he plays his cards right. LOL

...no Joanie Subbs last night... :(

Is it just me or is Timothy Olyphant (Seth Bullock) like the worst actor ever? :p - It seems his only emotion is "Angry", other than that he never has any expression. Maybe just a dull character to play, but he doesn't seem very good.
