have you tried dealing with 2 stuck pixels that you can't see when playing full motion games?
Fixed.

I work at both those fine establishments. Feel free to bring the item in and speak with us. Would also really help to speak with the original purchaser and have them do some foot work. Otherwise, just get used to the 2 stuck pixels.

Problem is that i leave on a road trip in about a less in a week to mexico and well i need the psp for entertainment.

it's 2 pixels, deal with it. PLZ

what does this warranty actually cover that you really think will be necessary down the line?

having worked at electronic shops in the past.. warranties and ppg, and all those things were just ways to get extra cash from people. Not something that was expected to ever be used..

I can deal with the dead pixels everyone. But I want to submit it in for warranty for the future in case something goes wrong with the system .Sony wont take unless i have proof of purchase which i dont have. Thnx!

Can't help you. Even if the guy DID buy it from a Gamestop/EB you have no way of proving that and we (GameStop) won't swap out a PSP just for a dead pixel.

You are S.O.L, sorry.

I am not looking for extra cash seriously. Like i stated just for in the future if something happens to the system.

Contact the original seller to see if he has proof of purchase. This is something you should have established up front before the transaction took place.

I am aware of that, pretty much what I ment to say is you have to talk to the guy you got the PSP from and ask him if he has the receipt for the PSP.

You can't get GameStop/EB to sawp it out. Unless you find another way of getting a proof of purchase, you are screwed if the PSP does brake on you down the line.

I did but he couldn't find the original reciept. For that and the two stuck pixels he sold it to me for 180.

Even though it's only 2 dead pixels, I'm assuming he bought the PSP expecting the screen to be functioning correctly.
