What do you guys think about 512MB vs 1GB of memory? Would it make a big difference for a casual gamer like me? I was considering getting one stick of 512MB for now so I can dual channel with 1 GB later... but memory is expensive =/ I'm tempted to get two of these and just be satisfied with 512MB.

If you are a casual gamer you really won't notice a huge difference. Some games like UT2K4 and the Battlefield 1942/Vietnam series use a lot of memory and can be smoother with 1GB installed.
