its an ion, which is a huge premiunm over other atom dual core boards since it has hdmi with hd decode and will work with adobe flash 10.1 for youtube / hulu.

and it has an onboard dc power supply with ac adapter, which seperately runs like $50

these normally sell for $180 ish.

Flash 10.1 is out as a public beta, which on Windows only, will offer hardware acceleration of Flash HD content. For $120, I might roll the dice and see if it'll work for Hulu.

honestly for me this was flaming hot. i live in CA so newegg sucks for me. ill be trying it out, worst case scenario sell it if i dont like it. cant lose.

@Caveman. You essentially get a Processor, MoBo, Vid Card with HDMI that can pass audio through it, wifi, and a powersupply. Super energy efficient and small. I hope this will make a fine HTPC for my 50" panny plasma
Amazon has the one w/o the powersupply for like $160, so I was scratching my head for a while trying to figure it out.

Thanks big time dude. Not only this is a great deal price wise, this is also a great product for my HTPC/Home server build. Power efficient, easy to put together with everything including PSU already.

Thanks for answer. I had no idea... So... This is great bang for buck if one is looking to set up a dedicated HTPC. All one needs is a small HTPC case... I can see the value...

Caveman, you are the man. I had three in my cart but talked myself down to 1 since they don't have any expansion slots and the other 2 PCs I need to build need one expansion slot, each.

Perfect timing too as I was going to buy a Nyko Wii wireless sensor bar for $15 today and needed to find $10 in other stuff for free shipping. Well, I found $116 in other stuff!

Pull out crap PSU, put in Zotac ION with "brick" PSU, wallah! The 80mm exhaust fan is very nice and lines right up with the 9300 heatsink, drawing the hot air right out of the case. Can fit a full-size/length optical drive.

The only catch I found is that the SATA power plugs won't quite reach the drive cage, so a Molex extender will fix the problem.

I'd get that cable just because you can mod the floppy drive connector to go to the fans on the +5v rail.

Edit: What's sad is that 4GB of RAM will set you back nearly as much as this fantastic little board. Just imagine if memory was still around $25 for 4GB!

i have that bm648 case (actualy have had both the black and silver bm643 ones) that power supply isnt THAT bad. not silent though, but yeah its a great case otherwise. i have had the silver and the black face version, the one advantage to the silver is there isnt a door to break off for the headphone / usb ports.

The benefit is that the PSU is also a 60W power adapter so I am hoping I can just remove it and use the one from the Zotac package without a big hole in the case. This case also come with integrated monitor stand (removable if you are not using it) if you need it. The best thing is that this case can accomodate 1x5.25 and 2x3.5 (1 internal, 1 external), perfect for my planned raid 1 build and the 3 SATA connection the Zotac mobo has.

Only thing is I am not in the US right now and can only get this during my Taiwan trip in a few weeks.

people on ebay actually buy those 60W power supplies too, so you could probably get back some of the money.

that case claims to be able to hold up a 23" monitor. i'm somewhat skeptical but its a pretty unique feature.
