ohtwell, am I the only person on AT who watches this USA show and think it was the "weakest" episode of the season?

I started a thread on it a couple of weeks ago and a few people responded. They must not be on right now.

Can always (re)read the book. Although not identical you can get an idea where it's headed. I may have to go ahead and do that as I never read it. I do know that the plot of the book is that the Good Guy, Johnny Smith has decided to rid the world of Greg Stillson because of the visions he keeps seeing. I do NOT know if that happens and how. Although, based on other S.King books I have my assumptions how it takes place.

Love the series and the season ending was also great. I'm bothered by the cheating that took place in the final episode, not surprised but bothered.

Just read S.King's book 'On Writing' and it talks about plot and The Dead Zone book a little which is how I know the above w/o reading the actual book. The series definitely has my wife and I hooked. Part of it just for the fact that Anthony Michael Hall is the star and doing a great job. We're looking forward to season 2, which is being worked on alread according to the official site..

I would have to say, "Yes".

How could it be the weakest episode? Couldn't you feel the turmoil, the suspense, the plots thickening? It didn't have much action, but all the internal workings going on in Johnny's head, Sarah's head... You finally see Stillson and how he came to be...

What more could you ask for??!?!?!? I thought it was muy bien!

Hopefully it has a happier ending than the book/first movie . . .

i am wondering...

how old is this show?? I remember seeing some episodes on fox some time ago. Is this season finale an old one? or has it been recently made?

anywho... i think that season cliffhanger was ok... (but not the best episode).

The television series is new, but there was a movie made of the book with the same basic story in 1983 starring Christopher Walken, Tom Skerrit, and Martin Sheen.
