Order Approved for 2 cards. I used different Billing & Shipping address and it was put on hold and notes said to call them. Called them up and they only wanted to verify shipping address. Lady on the phone said it should be shipped soon 😀 Glad I waited and didnt order the 8800GTs at BB etc.

Will update again in 2 hours on whether it gets shipped or not. Mwave uses FedEx and my packages from them always get picked up around 4:30-5:00 PM PST.

EDIT: card is now OOS and also a limit of 1 per customer.

Looks like you were about 20 minutes ahead of ordering the card (from the stance of when you posted on AT). Hopefully I'll get approved in the next 15-20 minutes.

I have the same message (whatever it means), but still no email. Interestingly my order also received a $10 renewal promo discount (haven't shopped a mwave since '01). Hope the order goes through; although I wouldn't be surprised if mwave balks and cancels the orders, given the disclaimer at the bottom of the product page:

"Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all information contained herein. Mwave.com makes no warranty expressed or implied with respect to accuracy of the information, including price, product editorials or product specifications."

There is a good chance that once approved, it might ship. Normally, it is the job of the approval department to verify stock/prices/restrictions and once approved, it just gets sent to the packing department to be packed and shipped.

lets see how it pans out.

Well my order just went from YES! in the approved section to NO. It just changed because I'm watching the actual order screen at Mwave.
 
The card is listed as "No Stock" now after initially being at $364. I'm not sure how long ago the page was updated to "No Stock" because I just checked...

Edit: looks like jlin beat me to the punch...
 
Someone on SD just received a call stating it was a typo and asked if the person wanted at the original price ($364). Looks like cancellations are coming. Crossing fingers, but not getting hopes up. Good luck...and if not, on to the next hot deal! 🙂

My order status changed which is not a good sign.

EDIT: Confirmed. They are canceling orders 🙁
 
Uh oh, cancellations coming through, from SD:

I just got called by a woman from Mwave, informing me that there was a typo on the website, yada yada, you can guess the rest. So I told her to cancel it. I didn't whine and try to get anything free from them, but hopefully some of you have better luck. So, in summary:

Order canceled via phone ;-(.

Haven't received a call yet but am expecting it. Looks like I'll be waiting until the GeForce 9-series...

Not a big deal. I doubt this card would have allowed me to play Crysis on High.
 
The second order is cancelled, first still shows yes but i did receive a call so it could have been for other but I was in a test. Said to call them back but the number they said was cutting in and out.
