My first order of 2 went through no problem, the second of 4 isn't showing up yet probably because my credit card isn't liking $1500 in charges on two orders at once...

Thanks OP!

I placed an order for one as well. We'll see what happens. I got nothing to lose if its a price mistake since they will just cancel the order.

are we sure it isn't the GT 512? GTS 512 is supposed to be ~$400

just looked over anand's review, seems like the current order of cards is:
3850 < 8800GT 256 < 3870 < 8800GT 512 < 8800 GTS 512 < 8800 Ultra

Seems like that's got to be a price mistake.

In for one! It's the Alpha Dog Edition:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814150261

If I recall correctly, this is the G92 version, rather than the G80 version, correct?

According to the New Egg reviews, some say its the G80 while others say its the G92. Can anyone confirm?

EDIT: Alright, according to the post above the G80 only comes in 320MB/640MB flavors so this is the G92 :)

yep, that's what I was thinking, thought the Newegg reviews had posters saying both. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this, in any case. Has to beat two 7900GTS, don't ya think.

The G92 comes in the 512MB flavor. G80 was 320MB and 640MB...

So as far as I know, this should be the new, G92 version.

Get ready for the cancellation emails.....
No realtime inventory as you can add 999 and still check out. Obviously a price mistake but will not stop people from stating:
"I will never shop there again"
"Class action law suit?"
"I already sold my other card and now without a system...."
Either case good luck to those.

In for one. :)

I just hope the influx of orders don't kill the deal for all of us. I'm sure this is a pricing mistake.

The product number is the GTS version, so I think this is either a pricing mistake or a Christmas gift from MWave :D

Price Mistake... For sure... NewEgg has the same card for 369.99 with a 20 dollar mail in rebate... These guys obviously meant to set it at $364.99 - $20.00 MIR.

The reason I do not plan on testing this is because 1) It would be taking complete advantage of an obvious price mistake and 2) I already have one on order that should arrive Friday. Good luck to those that ordered, but do keep in mind that in order for them to honor this price mistake, they have to hike prices up to compensate for lost profits. In the end, everyone pays for a price mistake.

I haven't jumped on a deal so fast since the Fry's 6800 Ultra, many moons ago. Thanks OP! I got a confirmation email right away... hope this deal really flies.
