[DEAD] - World of Goo (PC/Mac/Linux) -- as cheap as you are

To celebrate the one-year birthday of World of Goo, developer 2D Boy is offering downloads of the game from their website for whatever you're willing to pay for it.

http://2dboy.com/games.php

Understandably, the site is getting hammered, so if first you don't succeed, try try again (within a week).

UPDATE: offer extended through 10/25 for even more goo-dness.

UPDATE: deal has expired. Now you have to pony up $20, slackers.

thx op...sale went through for me, but DL page won't looooaaaaaadddddddd...

probably try again tonight.

Got it DRM free from D2D for $5 here. I've had it on WiiWare since the day it came out though. Fun little game for sure.

huh? retail version has CD that contains one file: installer, no DRM.. you can even copy installer to anywhere you want.

I gave em $2. gotta support indie developers a little..especially when they are generous like this.

Don't buy it for a penny folks. Each Paypal transaction costs them at least .50, so they will be losing money.

lol gave them $1. Tried this game a long time ago didnt like it will give it another shot for $1 though lol

I've already paid for two copies of this game but I urge other users here to pay for it. This game is not only one of the best games this year, but it has been created by a small and struggling development team who could use your help. Go ahead and pay 5 or ten bucks for this game, you won't regret it and you'll really be helping grass roots PC gaming.

So, is it DRM-free? I'd love to support the developer, but I don't like to pay for anything that has DRM.

If you download directly from 2D Boy, the copy is DRM-free (if this is something that you value, I strongly urge you not to go minimalist on your donation).

I downloaded last night and donated $5 to help out!

Its a crazy basic game, but can get very frustrating. A lot of fun when you are bored and want to test your skills

I usually buy games and then only play them for an hour or two, so I only gave them $5. After playing WoG for 20 minutes, I'm thinking it was the best $5 I've spent in a long time.

Paid $1. I had already paid $10 for the Wii version, so I figured it was worth $1 to me to have a backup for the PC.
