I got my order through. Funny thing, when I put my company in, they said they did not have a record of it. OK. Then it asked me to create (yes, it said create) a new company.

On that activation faq, it states that XP will not boot after 30 days if it's not activated. I have been running it without activation for 3 months. Why is that? It's XP pro.

They do take a long time to charge your card. I think mind took a couple of months. What happen to me was that I forgot about it and I saw a charge from SUNRISE IDENTITY for 48.94 so I initiate an inquiry and AMEX gave me credit for 48.94. Just recently, I got a new charge from DIGITAL RIVER for 44.94 so I assume these is same company.

I plan on upgrading my computer before I get my Windows XP cd, is there a limit on how long I can wait before installing the CD? It should work if I get it this month and don't install till next year (beginning of)?

Ordered three weeks ago, just got mine yesterday. Haven't installed yet, but seems legit. Anyone know exactly what license we have? I thought I would be able to install this on my desktop and my laptop. Most licenses for XP pro allow that.

You can only install on ONE computer. My father in law just last week tried to install XP Pro on his desktop and then on his laptop...the MS cops wouldn't let him activate the laptop...they said too bad!!! only one computer...he begged and pleaded and they still said tuff luck!

I'm emailing them to see wtf is going on.

Anyone else's pending credit charge get refunded before getting their XP?

yes. Actually, I could see a pending charge for about a week. Then it was taken off for about three or four days. Then, I got notice the shipping number. About two days later, the REAL charge came off and about five or 7 days later the package arrived.....
