Yeah - I realize now that I should've left the controller and nunchuck in there. Oh well, I hear those aren't hard to find locally.

The wii is the most forgiving of the new consoles as far as tvs are concerned. In fact yer almost better off with a smaller tv with the wii.

Any TV works for the Wii.

Actually if you are just doing DVDs and Wii ... EDTV (Enhanced Def TV) are a good value. Sometimes you can find nice deals on Plasma TVs out there that are big cheap and do 480P quite well.

I can't believe it but I bit on this one. I never EVER make impulse buys like this, especially not $383 ones, but I've wanted a Wii so damn bad I decided to. Guess I have a week with ground shipping to be crushed by the despressing realization of buyer's remorse and return it upon arrival if I can't handle the spending regret, lol
