the $30 HD rebate must be postmarked w/in 30 days of purchase

Still though - $50.45 ain't too bad...just could've been better...


Is there any way I can make a vaild complaint about this? Can I call a CSR and change to a different $12 free AR item that doesn't need to be postmarked w/in 30 days?

My HD and CDs came in today. The CDs turned out to be 48x instead of the 32x. Anyone else got this?

Anyone who havent ordered these CDs yet, I suggest you not to.

1) The rebate is postmarked 7 days after purchase. If you are ordering this online, you better send out the rebate the minute it arrives. Its 7 days flat, not even 7 business days.

2) Numerous people over at FW never got their rebates from KHypermedia from the past. They have a thread on this CD deal only. Check out the feedback if you dont believe.

Got the deal to work online 3-3, and used my MSN $. my experience with KHypermedia CD-R's is they suck, so use them for not too important stuff, YMMV. Thanks for the post.

If you don't recieve the CDRs in time for the rebate you can return the item to the store, they will only take off the part of the coupon that covers the item you return . I do it all the time with unwanted stuff I add to reach the total needed to use a coupon.

Mine weren't suppose to ship until the 12th, I came home from work today and they were here!! I ordered on the 2nd. My cd-r's are 40x.
Still shows on Officemax as not shipped and due out on the 12th (maybe I'll get another package!) I haven't been charged yet either.

Cool - maybe they'll make it here then - I ordered the 2nd also, so I have until this weekend before I'm screwed. Quite frankly, I may just return them anyway if thats possible, cause I hate to use anything other than good CDRs, like Fuji's. Thanks everyone - great deal here.

I went to the link that gave you 25 off 100. I added the HD, and a few other things to get over 100 dollars.
I am a first time buyer.
When I go to checkout, it asks for name address etc.
Next it asks for credit card info. I have yet to see the 25 dollar DISCOUNT.
Will I be charged the amount OVER 100?

When will it be subtracted???

I called in advance to verify they would do this. The CSR said officemax.com often has different items on special. I told her they had exactly the same drive, with exactly the same instant and mail in rebates, and I could easily order from the site for in store delivery, and she let me cut to the chase and use the coupon in the store.
