havent got my rebate yet....

received my rebate about a week ago.

I got a postcard which said they did not recieve a packing slip with my rebate request, which was not true. The rebate status at rebatestatus.com was in my "business" name, it said my Customer Account Number and Order Number are not valid.

I enclosed the original packing slip, how could the numbers not be valid? Just another hassle with rebates. I sent them an inquiry with my order number and account number. Hope this will shake loose the $100 check.

Classic! The post card claims they never got the packing slip yet their web site not only says something else but includes information only on the packing slip.

I got the same card today by the way on my retail drive. Need to see what the web site says.

Actually ModMan you may be SOL because the rebate required you to send a COPY of the packing slip. Since you sent the original, you are not in compliance!

Could the people that are telling us that they got their rebates please let us know when they sent them in? I haven't gotten anything yet and nothing shows up on the site.I'm wondering when I should start worrying. I know that they received it over 6weeks ago. Since they can't (won't) give me any information, comparing your elapsed time would be helpful. Thanks

If you think that's weird, I got the same postcard yesterday but they sent me my check more than a month ago! Hmmm.....I wonder.....

I sent my rebate in the last day possible and have already received them.

rebate mailed out the first week of Nov. and received my rebate like a week ago.

Thanks to everyone here. I finally stopped worrying about my rebate. IT CAME today. I sent it in at the end of Nov, they received it on Dec. 5, and it still hasn't shown up on their website. Lynn

Rebate received, even after they had to resend the drive itself when the driver gave it to Walmart, instead of delivering it here. That was fun... and I had to have words with the driver... for goodness sake, my house may look like a wreck inside (similar to most Walmarts) but from the outside, I don't know how he mistook it.

I bought the retail drive on the second day of the promotion. I mailed the rebate request off immediately upon receipt in late October. I was never able to access any confirmation or receipt of my rebate request on WD's rebate site ...finally received the rebate check today! I am however, alphabetically challenged in the V's.

I got my rebate check over the weekend. My info never appeared on the rebate tracking site. I sent my rebate off the week of Thanksgiving so people who sent their forms off around that time should be getting checks soon.

Got both my rebates this week - one retail, one OEM. The drives themselves arrived the first week in November. Total cost for both drives after rebates: $127.53 Not to mention I got rid of my three old drives on eBay, which totaled 130 GB, for $170, meaning I just about doubled my storage space and came out $40 ahead, making this one of the best deals I've gotten in on thanks to this forum.
