I searched Google for OfficeMax coupons and the only 30 off 150 coupons that I can find are links to this promotion:

...opps...

Can someone please post a URL or a scan of this coupon? MysticMan1?

i hate to say this, but you guys that are staying up all night for this deal are kind of pathetic - like mm says, it's only an hd AND you're only talking about saving $30 ... is that really worth ruining your weekend over?!
Well, I usually stay up until 1:00AM watching late-night television anyway. And OM doesn't open until 10:00am, so I'll still be able to get 8 hours of sleep in.

1st...edit your post to remove the coupon code...not allowed here.

2nd...just download SnagIT and go there and do a screen cap and use SnagIT to save it as JPG and print it. Or, heck, just print-scrn it into Word and print it

The copy of coupon will not work either.

Someone @ FW called up their Customer Service hotline thing before all the phones went dead. The policy is not to accept competitor's coupons anymore and that phone and online coupons are also not valid in store.

I went to my B&M OM today checked on the drives and they had 2 in stock of the 8mb version. So I picked up one and had my friend pick up the other for me. I bought everything from Deal 1 in the other OfficeMax thread.

I talked to the manager (really cool) and he helped me find everything I was looking for and told me to come in tomorrow to get a refund/repurchase and he would give me all the sale prices plus new recipt and rebate recipts. I asked him about the coupon and he said as long as I can get some kind of code for it he will call and honor it. So I got one and came back and he said thats fine and he will call to apply it when I come in next.

So, I ended up with 2 8mb hard drives, 200 cds, cd writer, and other accessories for about $80 bucks.

That went well.

It isn't going to show up until Tuesday, at least. The sales staff at home for the weekend, so I assume the web people are too.

Web people never go home. They live in the basement and huddle the servers for warmth.

3:21am EST, still not up.

Like they said, prolly not till later in the morning.

Well according to the omax website, you can only find this deal when you click on "weekly in-store specials".

It looks like everyone can finally go to bed now.

One last question though.

According to every "price match" policy I have read that are considered omax competitors (ie: compusa, staples) they all state that they do not match rebates. Has anyone been able to get a store to pricematch rebates? more specifically mail in rebates.

Well...I think I have a strategy to get this drive. Go to office max tomorrow armed with a printout of the $30 off $150 coupon, and the coupon code from f-w. Get the drive off the shelf after making sure it's a 8mb cache and then take it up front and buy it. Go to a different OM (or come back in a few hours) and get them to do a rebuy with the coupon so I get the rebate forms. If they accept the coupon, get the drive. If not, try a different one. If the first four or so OM's all reject the coupon...return the drive. Sound like a good plan?

If you use the staples' coupon, I think they will only give you $10 for it since there is a $20 instant rebate on the HD.... :(

First of all they don't stock the drives on aisle shelves. They keep them in lockup. Second, the drives will go immediately at store opening, so it's highly unlikely you'd have time to get to another store with stock on hand. ;)

russw - yes, actually, I could get from one store to another in time. The one on 120th opens at 10am. The one in westminster and the one in superior open at 11am. All that really matters is my getting the drive itself. As long as I can get the $30 off $150 coupon applied AFTER I buy the drive, I'll be set.
