DEAD: Virtually Unlimited Staples Coupons $10 off $40 purchase

Edit: It's Dead

I'm hoping this is not against the rules to post this; I read the rules and it seems OK to me. If it is out of line, please pull it, with my apologies.

Here's a link to a page on MSN money. On the top right corner of the page is an advertisement space. The advertisement space is displaying a rotation of advertisements - a number for tax software, and most importantly, an advertisement for Staples $10 off of a $40 purchase. If you get to the page and the Staples advertisement is not displayed, just hit refresh a couple times and it will appear shortly. If you mouse over the advertisement, it will expand (you need the flash plugin installed in your browser for this to work) and provide you with a link to download/print the coupon. This coupon has a unique 16-digit code, and is good for in-store purchases only. You can get as many coupons as you want/need by hitting refresh on your browser and reloading the Staples advertisement. Each time you refresh you'll get a completely new coupon code! This is hot as all get out considering Staples coupons are often hard to come by, and considering the great President's Day sales Staples currently has. Enjoy!

Yeah, I saw that on FW yesterday and printed one out...tried to PM Staples to OD's price on the MS Ergo 4000 keyboard and then use the coupon but no go.

Anyone try it on their 200GB HD deal?

On FW it seems pretty much everyone is having success using the coupon. I think maybe yesterday there were some issues with the bar codes/Staples computers not always accepting them, but today everything seems straightened out.

I wish I could use the coupons (this, and the $20 off $150) on the President's Day sale items. Too bad it excludes them.

Ah well.

You should be able to use this on the President's day items. I know the small print says it can't be used with any other discounts, etc. but Staples coupons always say that and most of the time the cashier's accept them. On FW many people have been successful using these coupons with the President's Day items.

I bought my items on Sunday morning. Since it does say that on the coupon I don't think they would let me return/rebuy to get the discount. I guess it might be worth a shot, I bought over $300 worth of stuff on Sunday (Shopping for multiple people).

Best purchase there was the $10 messenger bag, it rocks.

You have to have flash installed to print it. You should see "Save $10 Now" roll over it and a print button will pop up.

I see the coupon but I don't see a code!

Could I buy that DVD drive that's $20 after a $20 Easy Rebate, then get some filler (pens, paper clips, whateva) and use one of these $10 off $40 coupons and still get the Easy Rebate, lowering the price to $10 (plus tax, etc.)?

That Maxtor hard drive for $40 after rebates ($30 with the coupon) looks good too. Can you use the coupons and still get the Easy Rebates?

I, too, have flash (8,0,22,0). I see the print button. When I click on it, nothing happens. I have IE6. I have popups unblocked. I don't have an ad blocker. Click. Nothing happens.

Went to yahoo and checked into email there, refreshed the page 49 times and finally the Staples ad came up. Clicked on the print button and it worked! BFM.
