well, norcal CC was out...but they magically found 1 in the back for me w00t w00ot. The guy was a butt, he said that it 'was not right' for me to walk away with this card for 20 bucks....but then the manager came and ok'd it..boy was that guy mad. Anyway, didnt get the 110% pm, only 100%, but that doesnt really matter, this card for 19.99 is a steal. Great find!

3. The CSR doesn't know that the Fry's ad expires 10/8.

Thanks for the deal!. I just printed out the ad (PDF) from the link above and took it to CC. They never called the local Fry's to check in-stock or dates. I got the 110% price difference.
BTW: For CC PM deals, you can avoid any CC employee hassle about rebates if you order on-line for in-store pickup. Their system does not automatically print rebate forms for in-store pickup (assumes you printed them already on-line). You go in to pick it up and ask for the price match then. They give you a 110% credit (separate transaction) and the employee doing the price match won't even know there is a rebate unless they have it memorized or something

i live in seattle, here no Fry's.. but i tried my luck, bring the fry's ad and ask for PM. the guys think for a second. did it for me! but, he think he's smart. he only give me the receipt but not the rebate form. i heard the sound of printer running behind the counter, but that guy did not mention anything about rebate and he hide the rebate form from me!... whatever, i know what he trying to do! but nothing can stop me getting my $30 rebate

for everyone else: i think the packaging job by turtle beach is horrible... like every single one of my capacitors were bent when i took it out of the box. i didn't want to break any of the capacitors so i didn't mess with it but i think they need to make their packaging better. anyone else have the same problem???

Come to think about it, the CC rep didnt even try to call or look at any dates. All he did was look at the ad, make sure it was the same product, then price match. This could still work until they get the message.
Oh and the packaging IS horrible. The box is HUGE and the plastic holder inside doesnt even hold the card correctly. I tried putting the card back in after I looked at it and it didnt fit in any placer!! It just sorta sat on top of the whole thing. The only thing that fit was the included drivers.

does the card not screw into your case for anyone else? i've never had a card do this. it's like the spot for the screw is 0.5 cm off from where it should be.
It screws in, but I'll agree that the packaging sucks. It was flopping around the box, capacitors all bent up. At least it worked (eventually) when I installed it.

Just printed out the Fry's ad and about to head to my local CC (Tupelo, MS) to see if I can pull this one off...great deal!
Cyberia, if there was anything else in the box, it was garbage can filler, I wouldn't worry about it. I just kept the card & book, & tossed everything out as soon as I got home.

Scored two! 100% PM with no questions asked (no phone call to Fry's either) Was pretty impressed with their customer service... they even made copies of the receipts, UPC... everything so I could send in the rebates! :Q

Just opened mine... you got everything.
BTW, the retail packaging is the worst I've ever seen. The capacitors on the card were all bent! They might as well have tossed it into an envelope and dropped shipped via USPS!
i just got this, but for some reason there is no sound coming out of the card, my onboard sound works fine. any help people????????

Just pulled this one off. Ordered off of CC.com, picked it up at the store. Used the printed off PDF Fry's ad no problem. Mailed the receipt (will it make it in the required time if I put it in the mail box now?). Card is fine, no bent capitators, sealed, everything is there.
