I was skeptical when I learned that Dead Trigger 2 was developed for Facebook. I normally don't enjoy FB games. I think they are cheesy games that appeal to mid age moms and teenage brats who know nothing about gaming.

I fired up the game last night and I was very surprised. The game is actually good. If you like zombie games definitely check this out. It's a freemium game. That means that it's free. Now there are IAPs (In APP Purchases) but I truly think that I will not have to pay a cent. The reward system is pretty decent. You can play on either easy, medium, and hard. The more difficult levels will pay you much better, so I play my missions on hard. The graphics are great for a FB game. I can't get over the detail. I'm running a Dell laptop with an Intel 8mb video card. I can crank the graphics up all the way.

The downside: I have noticed that you can't jump, duck or run. The game does hold your hand, but you can change all of these features in the settings. When I started playing the game it was set to auto fire. I went in and changed that very quickly.

It's a pretty good zombie game. You can't beat free!

It's funny, because normally I don't give any attention to Facebook games whatsoever (just like you). The only reason why I checked out Dead Trigger 2 just a week or two ago is because it was recommended to me on a gaming blog or something.

Technically, it is the most impressive browser-based game I've ever played. In fact it is arguably one of the most competent browser games I've ever played period. It's a generic zombie FPS, yeah... but it's a good time-killer. The gunplay feels good, and the levels are varied just enough to keep things interesting. You can enjoy the game proper without any microtransactions too.

Although I will admit... I left the auto-fire turned on. :p I am lazy.
