Wasn't going to bite, but then I broke down, and ordered several. Not sure if I'm going to actually use any of them on my own LAN, or if I'll just store them to re-sell.

Problem is, most people's internet connection these days is faster than this. LOL.

Edit: Thanks! I enjoyed spending $40, and seeing "saved $185".

Edit: Also at Amazon, for $8.37.

Edit: Now I'm thinking, WTF did I just do...

Still available... not sold out... says a lot about the actual desirability of this product.

I thought this was some price mistake at first, and that the price may go back up (it may still do so). Not sure if Amazon just matched NewEgg, but I think I saw that item price from some other merchant as well. I ordered a few from NE, we'll see, wasn't a huge outlay of cash, I figure if I can flip a couple for a decent price, I should be all good. On to other deals :D

48 port Cisco 10/100 here which I've never used. It was worth a few hundred, a few years ago, back when it was given to me. Someday we may have a huge LAN party.

I got two the other day. I've only opened one and it definately has a hum with the power supply.

Thanks for the info. I need another switch, can make do with 10/100 but hum is a deal killer for me.

Well, the good news for the flippers is that Newegg raised the price, maybe Amazon will follow...
