DSLR has dumped a huge amount of WU's and has taken the lead back and currently are ahead by 300+

We need more power!!!! It only takes a few minutes to install the seti@home cli client, setidriver and join TeAm Anandtech.

 
I don't mean to be a pessimist but it seems like the UD agent is more important since it is helping to cure cancer. SETI looks for aliens right? What if we don't believe in aliens?🙂 Seems like you guys get a little carried away with this.(no offense intended of course) Please don't flame because I'm just curious, not trying to be mean...

The way I look at it is to each his own. I believe that no project is "more important" than another it is only more important to some people than others while another project might be more important to another group. There are many reasons people choose the various DC projects and if UD is to your liking, then great! We would love to have you be a part of the Anandtech UD TeAm. Come by the DC forum and introduce yourself, I am sure one of the UD team members would love to let you know about the project and how the TeAm is working on it 😀

It's the heat of the race that drives us and it is all in the name of good clean fun.
If you would rather run UD agent then by all means do so. After the race I may change a few of my clients so everything is not focused on one project but for now beating DSLR in this race is what I am focused on!

Yea I've noticed it overtakes Prime95 too.. prime95 still goes, but SETI gets the majority...

DSLR is DSL Reports a website about broadband. They are a competing team in Seti with the TeAm and a very strong opponent!

How is it that two of these people are able to obtain access to 700 computers? That is absolutely insane. Do they own large corporations with lots of unused CPU power?
 
Yo Snapster, that would have been a bad idea. I remember a while back a university was suing some guy who ran the RC5 client on their computers. They sued for a big amount to pay back the bandwidth and power he took by running RC5 on their comps.
 
I was running the ud client on 20+ machines when I was there, nothing happened, even with all the lan/internet games we had 😀

As I have said before, use the command line version if you aren't already. It makes a big difference. It cut my times in half, a little more in fact.

I just joined a few days ago.... I'v got two systems at home running it and im trying to get about 50-70 computers to run it at school.
