We just got a couple of these at work. Only a couple of small issues (which may not matter to others). The top is a glossy polished black finish that shows finger prints like crazy. Also the lid does not have any kind of latches to keep it closed. This is actually the first laptop I've seem that doesn't have a locking top, granted it takes some effort to lift it open so it probably won't flop open on you but what about a year down the road when things start to loosen up?
Other than that, the price is pretty good for what it is.
 
keep in mind this isnt a "real thinkpad" like the x and t series this is the lenovo getting thier cheap crap and trying to pass it off as a thinkpad, its on par with dell, toshiba, acer, hp, etc but it isnt an x or t. dont be confused!
 
Apparently they raised the base price as well as some of the upgrade prices around midnight last night (EDT.)
