Think Max Payne 1&2 for 7.50 is a worthwhile buy?

Ive been going through the first one.

Its quite a frustrating game actually. I just got to part two, and although I am on the easiest difficulty, I find myself reloading constantly because I either die or they take half of my health.

the 2nd is definitely worth it. I remember playing that on my xbox and I loved it.

Anyone try out Midnight Club 2 yet? I took a light look around, but it looks like the interface is a straight port from the consoles. And I cant seem to figure out how to change the resolution. Anyone have luck?

I bought the only one worth a flip..Vice City for $4.99. Wow what a difference playing in widescreen with forced AA and AF compared to back when I played it on my ps2 LOL.

I ended up biting. I was never a big GTA fan in that I couldn't sit for hours and play.. but I did enjoy picking it up and playing for a couple hours every few months when I got the hankering. So now it's nice to have that option, cheap. Oh yeah, and Max Payne 1+2, awesome. Also, Manhunt was one I wanted to play that I missed out on. I love these cheap game packs .. but damn, I'm so far behind in games I want to play now. Have like 20 sitting on my shelf to play. 🙁

The game has its tough parts, but I didn't think it was that hard...I've beaten it 2 or 3 times; always a fun game to play through IMO.

Try for head shots if you can; it definitely takes the bad guys out faster. A decent mouse helps a lot with this game.

The good thing is that you can save anywhere and reloading a game is so quick. Quicksave when you're loaded up on pain pills...if you bust into a room and there are multiple guys with uzis and shotguns you can just do a quickload if you die or take a lot of damage. I'll admit there were parts where I quickloaded 10 or more times just because I wanted to get through a part taking as little damage as possible so I kept replaying it until I shot them before they could shoot me! 🙂

Oh and I thought Midnight Club 2 for PC was pretty cool...it's been a long time since I've played it though, so I can't remember how to change the resolution. I just did a search to see if anyone had a similar problem; one guy didn't have problems changing the resolution and another guy edited the options.cgf file see here

Beat GTA, GTA2, and GTA3... played a little bit of Vice City and San Andreas on PS2.
Beat Max Payne, never played Max Payne 2.
Never Played Manhunt, Midnight Club 2 or Wild Metal Country.

Don't have much time for games anymore but I purchased it anyways. Nice deal.

Hey, thanks a lot. I may end up having to use that.

Remember to use the dive/jump time stop as well as the regular time stop. My roommate at the time would only use the regular time stop and he had a hell of a time getting through these games.

I don't particularly like the general steam concept, but I hadn't bought the 2 GTA3 expansions yet and didn't realize until someone was talking about it that there was a MP2 so I went and bought it.

I got GTA VC. Damn it looks sharp compared to the PS2 version I played years ago. The cars handle like go carts, it's ridiculous!
