Here is the board.

Here is the old rebate. See [EDIT_6] for the new rebate.

Here is the mfg's page.

$50 - $10 IR - $50 MIR (up to price paid type) = $0 (or make money if they give you the full $50) Plus shipping.

[EDIT_1]

Here is the mfg's page for BIOS, drivers and manual.

[EDIT_2]

FAR seems to have died on March 25.

Item is now avaialble for $65 and the rebate is still on their site. So, it looks like $15 after rebate ($65 - $50 MIR = $15) plus shipping now.

[EDIT_3]

Item is now avaialble for $59 and the rebate is still on their site. So, it looks like $9 after rebate ($59 - $50 MIR = $9) plus shipping now.

[EDIT_4]

Item is now avaialble for $55 and the rebate is still on their site. So, it looks like $5 after rebate ($55 - $50 MIR = $5) plus shipping now.

[EDIT_5]

Item is now $45 (after IR) and the rebate is still available on their site. So, it now looks like "make" $5 after rebate ($50 - $5 IR - $50 MIR = -$5) plus shipping. REBATE ENDS TODAY 4/22/04!

[EDIT_6]

Item is now avaialble for $50 and a new rebate is on their site. So, it looks like free after rebate ($50 - $50 MIR = $0) plus shipping now.

Here is the new rebate (4/23/04 to 5/07/04).

[EDIT_7]

The time period for the "new" rebate is now over. This deal is DEAD (for now).

and

Here is the thread where I bought mine.
So it's possible its even a better deal for most.
However when I bought on March 22nd they only charged me $81 with a 2600 processor, and it looks like I may be eligible for the $50 rebate.

Thus m/b bundle with XP2600 = $81 - $50 = $31, since the m/b is not priced separately on my invoice.

anyone else get:
Sub-Total $50.00
Mwave Super Dollars! $-10.00
Shipping & Handling or Will Call Fee $8.11
Order Total $48.11

Mwave Super Dollars???
Nice, cuts out shipping!

The rebate form says good only at "multiwave.com." If you plug this in your browser, it doesn't exist, so we can assume they mean "mwave.com." This is the kind of small rebate detail that bothers me. I have also heard that Soyo rebates are iffy at best.

Price error? Free after rebate WITH CPU PURCHASE Soyo Mobo deal is on the MWave front page. Click on that deal and the product page does not allow you to select a "No CPU" option.

Good thing the rebate form does not require a cpu purchase.

Here are the two links.

Got an AOpen AK79D-1394 NForce2 MCP-T Mobo $39 AR + 8 shipping at MWave back in September.

Thanks OP. This looks like another good deal. I'm in.

Ah, what the heck. Someone gave me an XP1800+ with retail heatsink/fan and I need a motherboard for it. This will do nicely, especially for FAR. Thanks for pointing out the hot deal, ww4397.

Anyone here have experience with soyo rebates? I thought they weren't that great, so I'm not sure if it's worth risking it.

Same here! my invoice date is 3/22/04...😕
it wouldn't hurt to send the rebate in and possibly get both the mobo and XP2600 for under $50 right?!??

good find ww4397

i jumped in....$50.xx was my total with tax & S&H

newegg has xp1800's on clearance for $49...if anyone needs a cheap CPU....it OC's really well...i dont know if this MB will OC though

With all of the bad reviews on SOYO rebates, I wonder if MWave didnt' place that -$10 instant off on purchase as the SOYO REBATE FORM clearly states that rebate must not exceed purchase price.

Purchase price does not include shipping cost & or taxes when dealing with rebates.

BE CAUTIOUS HERE.

Is there a way to deny the instant -$10 off? Making your purchase price the amount of the rebae requirements?

NM just picked it up @ newegg for $52 "Purchase" price with free shipping & a free customer appreciation gift! I went for the hat this time! 🙂

Thanks for the $2 board dea! 😀
